With extensive experience and education, I joined Dr. Parker’s practice in 2008. I started my career in orthodontics 24 years ago. I studied dental hygiene at Hudson Valley Community College, and graduated with an Associate of Applied Science. As the owner/operator of System Orthodontic Laboratory, I fabricated retainers and orthodontic appliances for many local orthodontists. Although I enjoyed laboratory work, I missed working with patients. Dr. Parker’s office became a perfect fit. His professionalism, experience, and great attention to detail make for a place I’m proud to say I work at. I take great pride in providing each patient with individual attention. The most rewarding part of my career is seeing my patients experience the excitement of a beautiful smile at the end of their treatment.
I received my CDA from Monroe Community College in Rochester , NY. I joined Dr Parkers team in July 2013. It's very satisfying to me seeing the great results that each individual patient receives at our office.
Growing up in Albany I now live in Brunswick and I'm happily married and have a 24 year old daughter Kati. When I'm not at work I enjoy cooking & baking, traveling with my husband and spending time with friends and family.
I recently joined the orthodontic field and I am thoroughly enjoying learning this specialty! Working in the health care field has always intrigued me and having health scares with my husband and having gone through many other medical obstacles, I feel this is a great opportunity to give back. I am currently enrolled in the dental hygiene program at Hudson Valley Community college and will be graduating in May 2017.
I have been happily married for 25 years and have a beautiful daughter.
I first got interested in orthodontics when I got braces at age 19 while working for a general dentist in NJ. I then started working for my orthodontist, and I’ve been in orthodontics ever since! I am a licensed dental assistant in the state of NY and I’ve worked as an assistant, an orthodontic lab technician, and have now transitioned to the front desk, but you can still find me assisting occasionally.
I’ve been happily married to the same guy I met at that first orthodontic office I worked at all those years ago, I guess you could say I made a good first “impression” on him! We have two sons, and have started a new adventure as grandparents. We are also the “parents” of four crazy cats.
